Relief and Aid International (RAI) is pleased to announce the second batch of beneficiaries under its Educational Scholarship Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.
With the addition of five more students, the organization has now successfully sponsored 10 out of the 14 selected needy but brilliant students, covering their tuition and academic fees for the remaining three years of their university education.
The second batch of beneficiaries, all enrolled at the University of Ghana, includes:
David Nii Amartey Amartey – Bachelor of Science in Administration
Sylvia Akosua Asuba – Bachelor of Science in Administration
Awuku Princess Yaa Ampofowa – Bachelor of Science in Administration
Essilfie Joana – Bachelor of Arts
Gyan Isaac Yeboah – Bachelor of Science in Administration
This latest round of sponsorship reflects Relief and Aid International's unwavering commitment to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent talented young people from accessing quality higher education.
The scholarship support was provided on behalf of the Founder of Relief and Aid International, Madam Peggy Anna Naa Ayikailey Adamafio (Mama Peggy), whose vision continues to transform the lives of young people across Ghana through education and social intervention programmes.
During the scholarship engagement at the University of Ghana, the RAI team was joined by Professor Owusu, Head of the University of Ghana Business School Accounts Department, who reaffirmed the importance of collaborative efforts in supporting students to achieve their academic goals.
The Foundation is also exploring additional support for journalism students, including the possibility of refunding fees for eligible Level 100 continuing students.
Expressing their gratitude, the parents of scholarship beneficiary David Nii Amartey Amartey shared the following message:
"As parents of David Amartey, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the scholarship support you have given our child. Your generosity has relieved a significant financial burden on our family and has given our child the opportunity to pursue their education with confidence.
We deeply appreciate your kindness and belief in the potential of young people. Thank you for making a positive difference in our child's future."
— Mr. Nathaniel Amartey and Martha Lamptey, parents of David Amartey
