Relief and Aid International, a non-governmental organisation committed to education and youth empowerment, has awarded scholarships to 45 students in various tertiary institutions across Ghana.
The initiative, dubbed “Beyond the Aid: Unveiling the Future,” seeks to enhance access to quality education and complement national efforts to promote inclusive learning.
Speaking at a ceremony to present the scholarships, the President and Founder of the organisation, Peggy Adamafio, reiterated her commitment to youth development.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, who praised the initiative as a valuable complement to government programmes such as the Free Senior High School policy and the No Fee Stress initiative.
Traditional leaders and stakeholders in the education sector were also present to endorse the programme and commend the organisation for investing in the country's human capital.
